Hello! Welcome to my professional web

I am a
faculty at the University of Rhode
Island's
College
of Business Administration. My
research focuses on humanitarian
logistics, technology and trust in
supply chain management.
I earned my Ph.D. in Logistics and
Supply Chain Management from the
University of Maryland's Smith School of
Business and master's degree in
Electrical Engineering from Colorado
State University. Also do I hold a
Graduate Diploma in Purchasing and
Supply from the
CIPS
Institute
in the UK. Prior to joining URI in 2011,
I worked at the
United
Nations as a Logistics Systems
Analyst and at the
National Research Institute of
Electronics and Cryptology as an
Applications Developer. My academic teaching
experience includes lecturing logistics
and supply chain management, operations
management and information technologies
courses in the U.S.,
Turkey and Kyrgyzstan.
As an active member of the supply chain
management research community, my
articles have been published at esteemed journals
in my area, such as Information
Systems Research (ISR), Transportation
Research Part-E (TR-E), Journal of Humanitarian
Logistics and Supply Chain Management (JHLSCM),
Decision Support Systems (DSS), and Decision Sciences Journal of Innovative Education
(DSJIE).
As of Fall 2018 semester, I am spending
my sabbatical leave at Udine University
in Italy conducting research with
colleagues in the Managemenet
Engineering department.
